As promised, I spearheaded the effort to save the town money by sharing costs with other municipalities by eliminating our stand-alone October elections. We have now joined the other 11 Wake County municipalities, and the Cary Municipal Elections are now held in November of odd years! I will be on your ballot on November 4th, 2025, or take advantage of early voting October 25-November 1st.

Here is some information for Cary municipal voters:
- Voting by mail is open to any registered voter. Request your ballot online at votebymail.ncsbe.gov
- Local early voting is open October 25-November 1st at:
- Wake County Cary Voters – Herbert C. Young Community Center at 101 Wilkinson Ave., Cary, NC 27513
- Chatham County Cary Voters – New Hope Baptist Church, 581 New Hope Church Rd., Apex, NC 27523
- Election day is November 4th. Cary elections are now in November of odd years, with no runoffs.
- Same-day voter registration at early voting sites: You can register to vote at early voting sites. Register at any early voting site with ID and proof of your current address on a utility bill, bank statement, paycheck.
- Photo ID is now required to vote in North Carolina.

Early Voting at County Sites
In Wake County, you can vote early from October 16 – November 1 at the Wake County Board of Elections 1200 N. New Hope Rd, Raleigh 27610.
In Chatham County, you can vote early October 16 – November 1 at the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center (AG Center) 1192 US 64 W Business, Pittsboro, NC 27312.
